MISERY INDEX - Free Comedy & Cheap Drinks

Monday, November 3rd @ 9:00pm

The Rite Spot (2099 Folsom @ 17th)

3 blocks from 16th & Mission BART

Let’s face it. Things aren’t going great: a bad economy, a horrible job market, never ending wars, exorbitant rent prices, dysfunctional relationships, mental illness, addiction, poverty, corruption, STDs, Rihanna. While there isn’t a cure for all of life’s problems, there is a tonic…

MISERY INDEX is a free, monthly show that brings together some of the most pessimistic, neurotic & dysfunctional individuals on the face of the planet: stand-up comedians. Take the edge off with cheap drinks and free laughs as these choleric comics direct their disdain towards all of society’s growing ills.

November’s lineup features maladjusted mirth makers:
Matt Morales (CBS, Bridgetown, Edinburgh)

Kelly Anneken (Femikaze, Hobo Pancakes)

Jules Posner (SF Sketchfest, The Business)

Paco Romane (Drunk History)

Aviva Siegel (SF Punchline)

Imran G (San Jose Improv)

Special Musical Guests: MooreDevine

Hosted by Trevor Hill (Hand to Mouth)

The Rite Spot is a cozy Mission dive that features local bands, comedians and performers. A rare San Francisco luxury set in an unpretentious atmosphere featuring Italian-American food, a full bar and an excellent wine list. “Aside from a little low conversation and the occasional clink of a glass, people are there to listen, and what they’re listening to is top-notch.” -SF Weekly
