Q: How do I get there?
A: Robin Williams Meadow (formerly Sharon Meadow) is located at the eastern end of Golden Gate Park across from McLaren Lodge at the corner of Kezar and John F. Kennedy Drives (one block off the corners of Stanyan and Haight). Alternately, there is another entrance off of Bowling Green Drive near the SF Lawn Bowling Club and GGP Tennis Courts.

Q: Where can I park?
A: At St. Mary's Hospital (off Fell Street)
UCSF (entrance at Irving & 2nd Avenue) three blocks from Robin WIlliams Meadow. Take note of the Street closures for the Haight Street Fair. Kezar Stadium parking lot on Stanyan (two blocks south of Haight)

Q: Will there be street closures because of the Haight Street Fair a few blocks away?
A: Yes. There will be street closures south of the Pan Handle and east of Robin Williams Meadow..

Q: Are there any new Slow Streets in the area?
A: Here's a handy page to help you arrive in plenty of time.

Q: What if it rains?
A: Bring an umbrella because, as they say in showbiz, "The show must go on!" And it will.

Q: Can I buy an official Comedy Day T-shirt at the event?
A: YES! You can buy a Comedy Day T-shirt at the big event! Next to the Front Gate backstage there will be vintage shirts and other goodies available during the show. And be sure to visit the San Franpsycho table out front for more wearable goodies!

Q: Can I bring a lawn chair or some other type of seating?
A: We'd prefer you didn't. We're short on space this year. Besides, they ruin the sight lines of those seated around you.

Q: Will food be available for sale?
A:You bet! On board again is Papalote Mexican Grill, featuring the best Mex! Check out their restaurant menu. Back again this year is the KabobTrolley! They'll be offering gyros, cheesesteaks, and other yummy items! 

Q: What about beverages?
A: There's our favorite wines (soon to be yours, too) from Pat Paulsen Vineyards. Yes, THAT Pat Paulsen! Pat’s son, Monty Paulsen, a graduate of the UC Davis School of Winemaking, has revived the winery and the brand, and is continuing the tradition of producing outstanding, award-winning wines of great value and high quality.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Company will be there for the beer-drinkers wishing to quench their thirst.

Q: What about the kids? Can we bring 'em?
A: If Comedy Day were a movie...it'd be rated PG-13. We ask our performers to "keep it clean," but occasionally an "off-color" word or topic will pop up. So, please use discretion.

Q: What about my doggie?
A: Sure, why not. Keep 'em on a leash, though, and be sure to clean up after 'em!

Besides putting on the big show each year, Comedy Day also provides an outreach program in which comedy workshops teaching conflict resolution through the use of humor can be conducted in Bay Area public schools.
